One of the most common holiday traditions is decorating the home, specifically the Christmas tree, and several celebrities are serious about the art of decorating.

Enstars compiled a list of some of the best Christmas decorations in Hollywood in recent years.

1. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon: It'd be hard to imagine that this couple couldn't pull off Christmas decorations, considering Carey is still known for her hit holiday song All I Want for Christmas Is You. The couple certainly decorated beautifully in 2012. Carey posted a photo of Cannon dancing near their gorgeous tree decorated with beautiful ornaments and clear lights on her Instagram page. Cannon shared a photo of their daughter Monroe's personal Christmas tree: a smaller one that featured plenty of bright colors and lights, polka-dotted bows and playful ornaments.

2. Kris Jenner: The mom-ager and matriarch of the Kardashian clan spares no expense to have one of the most festive homes in town. Not only has she posted a picture of her tall, elaborately decorated tree and staircase (complete with large red bows) on Instagram, but she also decorated her backyard. Lights dangle from the trees in a photo she posted on Dec. 17, captioned, "Christmastime on Tuesday night chillin in the backyard. #magical."

3. Kourtney Kardashian: Though nowhere near as elaborate as her mother's tree, Kourtney Kardashian still puts up a nice effort with her tree stuffed with oversized colorful Christmas balls, and even one gorgeous peacock ornament.

4. President Obama and Michelle Obama: Naturally the President and First Lady would ensure that the White House was decked out in its festive best, complete with a beautiful tree and garland everywhere.

5. Alessandra Ambrosio: The Victoria's Secret supermodel proves her Christmas spirit in spades with her gorgeous tree covered in clear lights and red glass balls. She even has a very traditional Santa statue standing guard in front of it.

6. Taylor Swift: Though the tree she posted on Instagram isn't her own and is from a hotel room while she's on the road, the country superstar has a clear appreciation for well-decorated Christmas trees. She posted the photo of her sitting in front of a tree that has a Christmas bells theme. She captioned the shot, "There's a Christmas tree in my hotel room and I'm really happy about it."

7. Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott: The reality stars and former Beverly Hills 90210 star kept things simple and homey in 2012 with a tree featuring traditional and homemade ornaments. The move is one that works well for their large extended family, including their four children -- Liam, Stella, Hattie and Finn -- as well as McDermott's son from his previous marriage, Jack.
