Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo's husband, Albert, has slammed one of the previous employees at his restaurant The Brownstone who filed a lawsuit against him claiming she was harassed and often called racial slurs.

According to Radar Online, Albert released a statement and said, "I'm appalled by the accusations."

He added that Lanise Jackson, the employee who is suing him and his brother, Tommy, is "lazy" and "subpar."

In the lawsuit, Jackson said that it was not uncommon for her and her colleagues to be called sp-c b----s and other explicits. She also said that in one incident Tommy yelled, "Are you blind? what are you, Chinese? Open your eyes."

However Albert maintains that the claims are totally false, at least when it comes to Jackson.

"Specific to that young lady, I never used that language in front of her. We are a classic melting pot at the Brownstone, and there is no truth to her claims in regards to me," he said. "To rip someone in a racial or gender bias way...that type of behavior is not accepted here."

Jackson also claimed that the work environment was extremely unsanitary and had lots of roaches. She said that she often worked more than 40 hours a week but was never paid for overtime.

Albert is not taking the claims lightly and plans to action with a countersuit for slander.

"She is a lazy individual who wants a big pay day... [But] her claims are without merit, and I look forward to getting this cleared up."

He said that if he does win his countersuit claim, he will donate the funds to a foundation for battered women.
