One of the executive producers of The Walking Dead discussed the possibility of having a Glenn (Steven Yeun) - Maggie (Lauren Cohan) wedding in the future.

The Walking Dead executive producer Gale Anne Hurd spoke with E! Online about the popular zombie series and revealed their plans for a potential Glenn-Maggie wedding.

"I think it would have been great to have a wedding, but everyone's on the run, and I think survival is first and foremost on people's minds," Hurd admitted.

"But ultimately it's not going to be the same without poor Hershel walking them down the aisle," she said, referring to Maggie's recently deceased father.

The Walking Dead season 4 midseason premiere coming on Sunday will focus on Carl (Chandler Riggs) and Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) shaky relationship.

"Any relationship between a father and a son, especially a son going through puberty and becoming a teenager ultimately, is going to be fraught with difficulty," Hurd explained. "And that's amplified by the fact that they're now separated from the rest of the group, and Rick still isn't in good shape, so I think it's likely that the balance will go back and forth as to who needs who more."
