At the 2014 Winter Olympics, 30 figure skaters are getting ready to compete in the Ladies' Figure Skating Short Program, held at 10 a.m. ET / 19:00 Sochi Time.

The various figure skaters are representing 20 different countries in all. They are broken up as follows:

China: Kexin Zhang and Zijun Li

Czech Republic: Elizaveta Ukolova

Estonia: Elena Glebova

France: Mae Berenice Meite

Great Britain: Jenna McCorkell

Georgia: Elene Gedevanishvili

Germany: Nathalie Weinzierl

Italy: Valentia Marchei and Carolina Kostner

Japan: Kanako Murakami, Akiko Suzuki and Mao Asada

Korea: So Youn Park, Haejin Kim and Yuna Kim

Norway: Anne Line Gjersem

Russia: Yulia Lipnitskaya and Adelina Sotnikova

Slovakia: Nicole Rajicova

Sweden: Viktoria Helgesson

Ukraine: Natalia Popova

United States: Polina Edmunds, Gracie Gold and Ashley Wagner

The defending Olympic champion among this group is Yuna (Kim) of Korea, and she is confident in herself going into Wednesday's competition.

"I am not trying my best because it is the Olympics," Kim said, through an interpreter. "I try my best always. The most important thing about today's practice was getting used to the ice and continuing what I did in Korea."
