The Men's Hockey quarterfinals will go on at 12 p.m. ET with USA and Czech Republic facing off at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

The United States and the Czech Republic will compete against each other to see which country's team will advance to the Men's Hockey semifinals.

USA has played the Czech Republic in two previous Winter Olympics, losing both times. The teams most recently played at the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, Japan, in which the Czech Republic defeated USA 4-1.

Team USA received a first round bye after defeating Slovakia and Slovenia, in addition to an overtime win over Russia. Czech Republic has had a less steady run in the 2014 Olympics with a 1-2 record in the preliminary rounds.

A victory for either USA would increase their chances of getting to the top of the medal count standings. USA currently stands in third place with seven gold medals and 21 overall medals.

Meanwhile, the Czech Republic would see a significant boost as they are ranked 14th with two gold medals and eight overall.
