New romance may finally be blooming in Salem, but outside circumstances could halt some new relationships in their tracks on Days of Our Lives.

Lucas and Sami Reconnect?

Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) has been searching for someone new to be with for some time, and he believes he may have found that woman in Sheryl (Jade Harlow). However, his budding romance with her could hit the skids pretty quickly, as she will clash too much with Lucas' mother, Kate (Lauren Koslow). Once again, Lucas could be left alone as a result.

J.J. (Casey Moss) has finally succeeded in asking out Paige (True O'Brien) and getting her to agree to the date. His struggles at convincing her that he is not the guy he was in the past appear to finally be over. Yet, this romance will also face struggles when J.J.'s friends start to become jealous and unhappy about the pairing.

Rafe Punches Ben After Seeing Him With Jordan?

Abigail (Kate Mansi) and Ben (Justin Gaston) haven't begun dating but Ben finds himself inexplicably attracted to the young doctor, who was recently dumped by E.J. (James Scott) in favor of his fiancée Sami (Alison Sweeney). Though Abigail may not appear overly interested in moving on with him at the moment, Ben will still kick up his flirtation with her just a notch.

Meanwhile, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) are trying to find a way to handle working together on a long-term assignment now that they are back to not being fond of one another. However, Hope's animosity may soon begin to thaw a little bit more when she overhears a conversation between Aiden and his son.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
