A new sneak peek for the next episode of Castle has been released, revealing that Beckett (Stana Katic) might take things too far as she tries to solve the case of her mother's murder.

The next episode of Castle is titled Veritas and it will involve Beckett going on a secret undercover mission to hunt down the men behind her mother's murder. However, things go wrong when one of the men is killed, and evidence links Beckett to the man.

The new sneak peek features Beckett and Castle (Nathan Fillion) conversing in secret at a park. Beckett is clearly hoping to not be seen as she has her hood above her head.

"Were you followed?" Beckett asks him, to which he responds that he switched cabs three times.

"Listen, Castle, I can't ask you to stick around anymore," Beckett tells him. Despite his protests, she lists off her reasons for going it alone on this mission.

"Bracken knows that I was bluffing now that I don't have this huge file of evidence against him. I've overplayed my hand. He's making his move - and O have to make mine," she says.

Castle seems to get an idea and tells her that there might be another way.

The episode is set to air Monday, May 5.

In other Castle spoiler news, TVLine recently published a report suggesting that the big wedding between Castle and Beckett is coming soon.

The report says that Randy Oglesby will be guest starring as the minister at a small-twin church in New York in the season 6 finale. Does this mean wedding bells will be ringing? The final episode of the season is titled For Better or Worse, suggesting that fans of the couple should be looking forward to it being a huge possibility.

Castle season 6 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
