'The Voice' Season 6 Spoilers: Song Selections Plus Adam Levine Says Christina Grimmie Gives Him 'Goosebumps'? [PHOTOS, VIDEOS]
The Top 5 on The Voice is set: Kristen Merlin, Christina Grimmie, Kat Perkins, Josh Kaufman and Jake Worthington. And two of them are going to get cut. It's only one week until the season finale showdown. And after a brutal slashing of three of the finest singers on last week's The Voice, who's head is going under the axe this time?
For the semifinals, the singers will be performing the following songs, as revealed on iTunes:
Christina Grimmie - Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap and Some Nights by fun.
Josh Kaufman - All of Me by John Legend and Love Runs Out by OneRepublic
Kristen Merlin - Gunpowder & Lead by Miranda Lambert and Foolish Games by Jewel
Kat Perkins - Let It Go by Demi Lovato and Chandelier by Sia
Jake Worthington - Good Ol' Boys by Waylon Jennings and Heaven by Bryan Adams
Worthington, 18, clings to the support of his mother. He told Today on May 12, "You know, my mom being here has been an absolute blessing. I love her to death. If she wasn't here, I couldn't do this. She's my backbone."
Coach Blake Shelton is working with the young singer as he powers through vocal fatigue to record his iTunes song in the hopes that it charts. His mother Wendy Worthington has been there every step of the way.
"I'm just mom. It's what moms do. You do anything for your kids." she said.
During rehearsal, Coach Adam Levine told last week's Instant-Save survivor Kat Perkins that what she's singing "is gonna be good."
To singular sensation Christina Grimmie, Levine said what she is singing "gives me goosebumps. It causes an emotional response that cannot be denied in me or anyone else."
Coach Shakira's busy trying to make magic with Merlin, while Usher whoops it up with Kaufman - slapping his knee and smiling through his rehearsal.
Everybody's gunning for the Top 3 - coaches, singers all. Also, Usher is set to perform his new single Good Kisser live for the first time.
The Voice airs Monday and Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on NBC. Tune in tonight!
