Glee is set to air its final episode of season 5 Tuesday night, and "Gleeks" won't be happy with how long they have to wait for season 6.

Rachel Gets A Network TV Show Based On Her Life Glee Season 5 Finale?

In Tuesday night's finale, which is titled The Untitled Rachel Berry Project, a lot of significant developments will go down. Rachel (Lea Michele) will get an opportunity from a television writer who wants to write a new show based on Rachel's life. Rachel must decide whether to leave Broadway behind or pursue a career in Hollywood.

Meanwhile, Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Mercedes (Amber Riley) will be dealing with relationship issues as they both have bolstering careers that could drive them apart.

Blaine Cheats On Kurt In Glee Season Finale & Sleeps With Brittany?

The promo also teases Blaine (Chris Colfer) and Brittany (guest star Heather Morris) in bed with each other, suggesting that they may have been intimate. Unless this is a dream or some sort of fake scenario, this could obviously cause trouble in Blaine's relationship with fiancé Kurt (Chris Colfer).

The episode is set to air Tuesday at 8 p.m. on Fox.

This episode will be the last episode of Glee for a while. Fox recently announced their fall 2014 TV schedule, and Glee was not on the schedule. Despite this, there is no cause for alarm as it will be back in 2015.

Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly spoke to reporters Monday about the final season of Glee and what they were planning to do. Apparently, they have not reached an official deal on the amount of episodes that will be produced.

"The order is currently for 22, but we're actually going to sit down with Ryan Murphy and really talk about how we're going to end it and figure that out," Reilly said. "We're going to sit down and talk about exactly the best way to end the show now and how much that is.

He also assured: "When it comes back in the second half of the season, that will also air all of their episodes in a row."
