The conflict between the cast of Amish Mafia and show producers that put the program on hiatus may have been a hoax to help continue drumming up interest in the reality program.

Lebanon Levi Making First Public Appearance Since Quitting 'Amish Mafia?'

The show, which has reportedly been on hiatus since February 26 and aired its season 3 finale on April 8, has been rumored to not be coming back for a fourth season, after the cast refused to continue filming the series, though it now appears that it may have been faked -- and they are already filming episodes for a season 4.

On Lebanon Levi's Twitter Account, fans have inquired about the show's return, and in two recent replies, Levi's responses have been positive, assuring the fans that the show would likely be coming back.

Esther and John Schmucker 'Unhappy' With 'Certain Things?'

"Are you going to come back to tv?" a fan asked on May 11.

"@alenna-renee a good chance," he replied.

The same fan wrote him again the following day to ask the question again, this time specifying that she wanted to know when the return would be, to which he responded that he didn't know.

"Not sure yet," he wrote.

Though the responses could mean that the cast and producers just reached an agreement in negotiations, and doesn't necessarily imply that the conflict was fake, the official Amish Mafia account, run by producers, seems to indicate that episodes are being shot, though they maintain the cast still won't speak to cameras.

Tweeting a photo on May 13, the producers seem to hint that the cast is still working, sharing a photo of Levi and Esther Schmucker speaking together in a home. The camera sits outside the window.

"Though they'll no longer talk to us or our camera crews, Esther and Levi have been spotted together in Lancaster," the photo was captioned.

In the photo, the two are seen in the Amish clothing they wear on the show, and while the camera looking in from the outside on them could imply they are secretly spying on the cast, it could suggest even more that the cast is actually filming again -- and knows the cameras are there watching them.

For the latest on the potential return of Amish Mafia, keep returning to Enstars.
