It looks as though there are a lot of questions that are finally going to be answered on the upcoming season of the hit ABC show, Scandal. Actor Tony Goldwyn dishes on some of the show's twisted plot lines, including Jerry's death and his relationship with his on-screen wife, Mellie Grant.

In a new interview, Goldwyn says that Season 4 will bring Mellie and Fitz closer together while they are grieving their son's untimely death.

"They've transcended into some new place I think, not that they won't backside," he says. "I don't know what the hell Fitz is going to think when he finds out Olivia's disappeared."

Meanwhile, it looks as though Bellamy Young, who plays Mellie, is also going to have quite the season as her character prepares to grieve her son.

"I have lost a lot of people in my life. Death and I, we get along. And that's where I went, and I can never think of a horror greater than burying your child," the actress said.

There's also a new theory that will put Melliie's life in danger, suggesting that Mellie might have become infected after Jerry sneezed and coughed up blood in front of a packed auditorium in season 3.

"I don't Google things about medicine on the Internet because I get myself all worked up," Young said. "But now I'll be all worked up! I don't know! He did, he sneezed all over me, there was blood all over my blazer."

Scandal will return in a new 9 p.m. EST/PST slot time this fall on ABC along with How To Get Away with Murder and Grey's Anatomy Season 11, according to the network.
