In a preview for Thursday's episode of Rookie Blue, Andy and Sam team up to question Sam's dad, who quickly turns the tables on them when he threatens to uncover Sam's biggest secrets.

Rookie Blue fans know Sam has had a rough childhood -- now his inmate father returns and threatens his career and relationship with Andy in the episode called Two Truths and a Lie.

A synopsis reads, "While interviewing prisoners as part of a murder investigation, McNally and Swarek question Swarek's inmate father, who claims to know a dark secret that could threaten Sam's badge. Will we finally find out why this father and son have been at odds for so long?"

During the interview Sam's father asks Andy, "Excuse me Officer Andy, I know you like to ask the questions. Can I ask you a question? Has my son told you the story about how it is that I ended up in jail?"

Andy hesitates before shaking her head and Sam's father replies sarcastically, "No? Not interesting enough?"

Still, Sam tries to stick to the topic of the questioning, which is connected to a murder investigation.

But Sam's dad won't let the topic go and changes the topic back to his question for Andy. This time, he tells Sam, "All I've wanted to hear after all these years, was just for you to admit it. Just say it."

He then disses Sam for "hiding behind his badge" and being afraid that it would be taken away. He goes on to threaten Sam and say they would strip him

Rookie Blue airs Thursdays at 10/9c on ABC.
