Supernatural season 8 spoilers are revealing that the returning CW show will feature ground-breaking episodes that will leave fans more excited than the last 7 seasons. Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and Jared Padalecki, the stars of the show shared some inside spoilers for Supernatural season 8, including the new character, Benny.

"He's not a good guy... " Ackles reveals about Benny, a vampire Dean meets in purgatory.

"[He] stands to pose a bit of an issue for Dean because maybe there are things that Dean has hidden that he doesn't want to tell Sam that happened in purgatory," he continued in the interview with TVLine.

The character of Benny, played by Ty Olsson, will be a "pivotal recurring role" in Supernatural season 8, TVLine reports. The dark vampire will actually be partially responsible for how Dean makes it out of purgatory.

And for fans wondering what purgatory is like for Dean, Ackles discloses that flashbacks will explain "what life was like, the relationships that he made down there and how that helped him get out, which also gets touched on heavily in the first episode."

Dean has kept lots of secrets from Sam regarding his time in hell and purgatory and season 8 will divulge into all this juicy drama in the season premiere this October on the CW.

For the first time since 2009, Supernatural will be featured on a day other then Fridays. It will be part of a line up with the show "Arrows," and the network is hoping ratings will remain upward regardless of the change.
