The list of guest stars for season two of FOX's Brooklyn Nine-Nine continues to grow, as the sophomore comedy prepares to keep fans coming back for more.

Kyra Sedgwick Guest Role On 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Revealed

The show, which was one of only a few new comedy series to be renewed on all of the major networks from last season, will add Hangover star Ed Helms to its impressive cast roster-which included guest-arcs by Patton Oswalt, Fred Armisen, Craig Robinson, Adam Sandler and Andy Richter in the first season.

According to TV Guide, Helms will play an agent working for the United States Postal Inspection Service who works with Andy Samberg's detective Jake Peralta on a case-but the two are expected to struggle at their task.

Helms will only appear in the seventh episode of the season for now, scheduled to air on Nov. 16, but executive producer Dan Goor did say he could return at any time.

"[Co-creator and executive producer] Mike Schur and I know Ed from The Office and The Daily Show, so he'll be great and hopefully he'll have fun and be back."

Helms is only the latest celebrity to be added to the list of season 2 guest stars , which includes Kyra Sedgwick, Eva Longoria, Terrell Owens and Jenny Slate.

Sedgwick's role will also be a problem-causing one, but more for Andre Braugher's Captain Holt character.

According to TV Guide, her character, Deputy Chief Madeline Wuntch will share an acrimonious history with Holt-and in an exclusive photo the magazine released of a first appearance featuring her guest arc, the two truly do seem to despise one another for some reason.
