Brooklyn Nine-Nine will have an interesting new face potentially stirring up trouble in precinct when it returns for its second season.

Kyra Sedgwick, who starred on The Closer from 2007-2012, will join the series in a two-episode guest arc beginning October 5-but her character may not be good news for Andre Braugher's Captain Holt.

According to TV Guide, her character, Deputy Chief Madeline Wuntch will share an acrimonious history with Holt-and in an exclusive photo the magazine released of a first appearance featuring her guest arc, the two truly do seem to despise one another for some reason.

The two gaze at one another in the picture with clear contempt written on their character's faces. And though Holt stands much taller than Wuntch, she doesn't appear like she would back down from a fight with the tough captain of the less-than-serious police precinct.

Sedgwick's appearance on the series also gave the actress the chance to put in her own creative two cents about the role, and the relationship between her character and Holt as well.

"Kyra brings so much presence and gravitas to the role-exactly the traits needed to stand off against Andre Braugher," executive producer Dan Goor said. "And she pitched one of the funniest flashbacks that we've ever done!"

Though she hasn't commented on her appearance on the show recently, she did tweet about her excitement for shooting her guest spot earlier in August, sharing a photo of herself on set with her followers.

"Super excited to go back to @Brooklyn99Fox tomorrow!" she tweeted August 3.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 2 premieres Sunday, September 28 at 8:30 on Fox.
