Through a host of products many expected to see, and a problematic live stream, Apple made history by unveiling two new models of iPhones, an innovative payment method and a state-of-the-art watch that allows Apple functions to appear on the user's wrist.

Apple Says the Leaked Celebrity Nudes Were Not Their Fault

Apple CEO Tim Cook opened the meeting saying that the first product they would unveil would be "the biggest achievement in the history of the iPhone."

The new iPhone models, titled iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, bring a thinner and sleeker design to the already high-selling models. The company highlighted the improved camera as a reason that the iPhone beats the competition.

iPhone 6 Rumors: Apple Developing 3D Sensors?

The new phones have a 8-megapixel camera with a f/2.2 aperture and 1.5µ pixels, just like the last model. The "next generation iSight sensor" has what Apple's calling "focus pixels," or pixels that offer DSLR-like phase detection autofocus, which is supposed to be twice as fast as the 5S.

In addition to that, the new phones have 185 percent more pixels than their predecessors, faster Wi-Fi with the new feature called Wi-Fi Calling that allows users to make phone calls using their Wi-Fi rather than cellular data. The new phones also shoot 1080p video.

One of the only differences between the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is that the 6 Plus has optical image stabilization rather than the digital stabilization that comes with the iPhone 6. This improvement allows for better photos and a camera that is able to move more.

One of the newer features added was the new Health app, which allows users to track different categories including: calorie intake, steps walked daily and how many stairs you climb. The new app will be released with iOS 8, which comes out Sept. 17.

The iPhone 6 prices start at $199 and the iPhone 6 Plus begins at $299. The phones are released on Sept. 19.

After Cook invoked the late Steve Jobs' famous "one more thing" line, the CEO announced the groundbreaking Apple Watch, which allows users to have the capabilities of the iPhone or iPad on their wrist.

"This is the most personal device Apple has ever created," Cook said. "It will re-define what people expect from a watch."

The Apple Watch uses a "digital crown" to allow users to switch between the apps they know and love, including Facebook, camera, and maps. The interface is said to be easy to use, with users able to perform phone calls, send texts and check emails with new technology.

The Apple Watch is available in early 2015 and works with iPhone 5 and up.

Apple also announced ApplePay, which is their way of replacing credit and debit cards from the wallet, in a simple new system. It is available on iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
