According to a series of new tweets, the former 16 & Pregnant star, who is currently expecting her second child, has acknowledged her wrongdoing and is ready to move on from her crime.

"Listen regardless of what happened, I was in the wrong," Paulun wrote, according to a report by the Inquisitr on Tuesday. "I knew something happened and didn’t say anything about it and went along with it. I confessed and admitted everything before anyone else said a word. I feel awful that I let something like this happen to me."

On Saturday, news of Paulun's arrest was reported by Wrapped Up Reality, who claimed she was charged with retail fraud on Friday night. A short time later, The Ashley's Reality Roundup reported Paulun was charged with “third degree retail fraud” after she "most likely stole merchandise from a store that cost between $200-$1,000 (and then possibly tried to return it for cash)."

However, in response to the report, Paulun claimed the site's amounts were incorrect.

"Third degree fraud in MI is anything less than $200, not above," she explained.

"Honestly, everyone’s negative sh*t is NOT helping me," Paulun continued on Twitter. "The negative sh*t is not good for anyone, let alone a pregnant woman. I’m remaining as positive as I can for myself and my baby. If you’re gonna talk sh*t just please don’t even tag me in it.”

Nikkole Paulun is due to give birth to her second child in July.
