Mexico defeated Costa Rica, 2-0, in a Friday night World Cup qualifier match, but the Costa Rican squad has a chance for redemption when the two teams meet again Tuesday.

Costa Rico will challenge Mexico at home Sept. 11 in Estadio Azteca stadium in Mexico City, Mexico. The match is slated to begin at 9 p.m. Eastern time.

It's likely that Mexican midfielder Giovanni dos Santos will miss his second game in a row this afternoon. He sat out of Friday's match with Costa Rica because of an injury he suffered in the Olympics, and he'll probably be absent today as well since Mexico is so close to locking down a spot in the final qualifying group.

In dos Santos' absence, Andres Guardado will probably soak up the spotlight, as he did in Friday's victory over Costa Rica.

On the Costa Rican side, veteran midfielder Christian Bolaños is likely to be the team's best shot for a victory today. He's proven he can hit great highs in a pinch, so if he is in top form there is hope for underdog Costa Rica.

The Bleacher Report predicts Mexico will use its home field advantage to edge out Costa Rica in what could be a very competitive match.
