NBC's hit television show "The Office" will be premiering its second episode of its ninth and final season on Thursday, Sept. 27. The latest installment of the series is titled "Roy's Wedding" and will center on Jim and Pam delving into secrets from their own marriage upon seeing Roy tie the knot.

Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski) will evaluate their relationship for deceit after partaking in a wedding toast. Also, Dwight (Rainn Wilson) will dispute Nellie's (Catherine Tate) mandatory charity initiative to condone the Taliban and live by their extreme rules.

Clark (Clark Duke) will hit on Erin (Ellie Kemper) by lying through his teeth about a bogus newscaster opening. However, Andy (Ed Helms) will also fall for the fake position.

The NBC network previously announced that this would be the final season for the popular long-running comedy, as the show's creator and runner Greg Daniels stated to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch "Well, it's time."

In an Aug. 21 interview with Zap2it, Daniels, who transitioned "The Office" from the U.K. to American television, also confirmed the end of the show.

"This year feels like the last chance to really go out together and to make an artistic ending to the show that pays off a lot of the stuff that has mattered most to fans with the core characters," he said. "This will be the last season of 'The Office.' We're planning a very big exciting last season."

Daniels also elaborated on what will be in store for the series' farewell fall season:

"We're going to have a lot of familiar faces coming back. We're going to Roy's wedding. David Wallace is running the show, the Dunder-Mifflin show. We have a lot of funny stories, we're telling some crazy Dwight stories we've wanted to tell for years."

The former "Saturday Night Live" writer also spoke about the possibility of a Michael Scott (Steve Carell) return.

"We would certainly wish for it. We're not going to put so much pressure on Steve by writing something that could only work if he returned," Daniels said. "But it would be fantastic if he returned."

Episode two, "Roy's Wedding," of "The Office" will air on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
