The next edition of "The X Factor USA" will pack a punch thanks to the added star power set to appear.

Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas, Will.i.am of The Blacked Eyed Peas and Marc Anthony will guest mentor the remaining 60 contestants.

The stars will appear with the hopefuls at the homes of all four judges and lend their expertise to help narrow down to the final 24 contestants.

Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun partnered up with L.A. Reid, Anthony joined Simon Cowell, Jonas teamed up with Demi Lovato and Britney Spears was joined by Will.i.am.

The Fox network released photos of the pairings and statements from the judges and guest mentors.

Lovato admitted that she chose Jonas because the two have been long-time friends and share a similar background- the singers are both former Disney stars.

"We've known each other since we were 14 and now we're 20-years-old, and we've continued to have successful careers," said Lovato. She admitted she trusts his expertise because Jonas has "been all over the world, sold so many records [and recorded] hit songs. I mean, he knows what he's talking about."

Jonas spoke highly of the experience in the pre-tape segments: "I'm lucky to have some incredible mentors in my life and I've always valued their opinions greatly. Being able to provide guidance for another artist, while working with the incredibly talented 'X Factor' team, was an amazing experience."

As for Cowell's pick of Anthony, he appreciates the fact that the Latin singer is highly opinionated.

"I like Marc and he is a good friend of mine and he has, my God, he's got opinions, Marc, and he is not afraid to share them," said Cowell. "He is funny and I trust him and he is both an artist and an executive and I like that combination."

Anthony said he and Cowell have been "good friends for years."

"It's a very weird, bizarre relationship because I don't even know why I like him, you know?" Anthony said jokingly. "There's not much to like, but there's a lot to respect, I guess. (Seriously) there's some extraordinary talent out there, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of their journey."

Anthony also said he felt "really excited" about his guest role and that he is "looking forward to seeing them advance in the show's new season."

Will.i.am threw jabs at "The X Factor UK" show creator as well.

"Simon is just saying whatever he's got to say to throw people off because he's the mean judge," The Black Eyed Peas singer said. "You know, Simon's a mean judge. Britney isn't mean -- she's just tough."

He then shared why he has so much respect for Spears and couldn't turn down the opportunity.

"When Britney asked me to come help mentor talent in the Judges' Homes round, it was an easy yes," he added. "Some of the talent I've seen so far has blown me away - they're out-of-this-world good."

The top 24 contestants of "The X Factor USA" will be revealed on Wednesday, Oct.10 at 8/7c on Fox.
