The very popular second cross-over of NBC's Law & Order: SVU, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. is just weeks away, but cast members from the Chicago based police officer set are promising that the event will be one not to miss.

Will 'Chicago Med' Join in On Future Cross-Over Episodes?

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Chicago P.D. stars Jason Beghe and Jon Seda dished on their characters' second trips to New York, where they will team up with Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and the rest of the Special Victims Unit to solve a case concerning a serial murderer and rapist who they believe has taken up hiding in the east coast city.

"At any rate, we're getting close to getting him and he gets away," Beghe teased. "He looks like he's heading to New York so several of our characters go to New York."

However, things may not go as smoothly as planned during the episodes, as Beghe also revealed that the episode takes on a personal note for several of them.

""It's very personal for us a lot reasons I can't say," he said.

The event, scheduled to air on April 28 and 29, will see the second time that the three shows cross-over into each other, as all three groups become roped into the case.

It was previously reported that the character all three units would be going after is Greg Yates, a charismatic doctor who is the prime suspect in the string of brutal rapes and murders. Dallas Roberts, who previously starred on The Walking Dead has been cast in that role.
