Vancouver police are investigating a hit-and-run accident involving actor Ryan Reynolds that happened in a hotel parking lot on Friday.

The actor was reportedly leaving the parking lot of the Shangri-La hotel in Vancouver, when he was hit by another car in either the late afternoon or early evening Friday. Reynolds was uninjured.

"It was a hit and run in the parking lot apparently, but there were no injuries," Vancouver police Const. Brian Montague told CTV News Vancouver.

The crash is being toted as minor, and police have not said if they've been able to identify or apprehend the other driver, though Montague did say police 'have an idea' who was driving.

Reynolds' publicist, Leslie Sloane, also confirmed the news about the accident in an email.

"While walking, Ryan was struck by a paparazzi driving a car through an underground parking garage," she wrote. "The man fled the scene. Ryan is okay."

It is unclear if charges will be pressed against the driver, because Reynolds was uninjured--meaning police will need to speak to him to determine whether they will proceed with that route.

Reynolds is in the city filming for his upcoming Marvel comic book movie Deadpool, and already appeared back on set the day after the accident, when he tweeted as photo of himself in costume.

"Negasonic Teenage Wat-the-S--t?!" he captioned the image of himself with a co-star. Reynolds also refused to speak about the incident with the media, responding to a request for comment on Twitter with a plea for a TV show to be put back on the air first.
