Alfonso Ribeiro married Angela Unkrich on Saturday, Oct. 13 in California.

Ribeiro, best known for playing the spoiled, rich cousin of Will Smith in "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," Carlton Banks, confirmed the news via Twitter.

"Last night I got married to the most incredible woman in the world," he tweeted. Unkrich, 31, tweeted the news first on the day of the nuptials, saying, "Just married the man of my dreams today... happiest day of my life!!"

The following day she wrote: "1st morning waking up as Mrs. Ribeiro = AMAZING!!! So happy and blessed!"

Ribeiro wed Unkrich in a sunset ceremony in Burbank, Calif, before a crowd of 175 people. Celebrity guests who attended the event included N' Sync band member Joey Fatone and former "Silver Spoons" star Ricky Schroder.

Ribeiro, 41, "looked like the happiest man alive," his wedding planner, Michael Russo, told InTouch. "He had everyone he loved there supporting him - it was very special,"

Unkrich, who is a writer, looked "stunning" in her Rivini-designed gown, according to the report.

Ribeiro is a former child star who played the lead in the Broadway show "The Tap Dance Kid." Later, he appeared alongside Schroeder in "Silver Spoons." In 1984, he danced in one of Michael Jackson's Pepsi television commercials.

This is the second marriage for Ribeiro, who has a daughter, Sienna, 9, with ex-wife Robin Stapler. They divorced in 2006.

Ribeiro laughed off reports that he had died in September 2012. He made a statement to reveal he is not dead, but alive and well. Ribeiro explained that his death hoax was started by an unknown person who created a Facebook page saying that the acotr had died, while offering some details about his funeral.

"Thanks for all the love. In every situation you must find the positive," he said at the time.

Ribeiro hosted the game show "Catch 21" on the Game Show Network, and also directed episodes of the television series' "Meet the Browns" and "Are We There Yet?"

He currently directs episodes for the Disney Channel's hit teen show "Shake It Up."
