Unfortunately, Shelton lost two contestants that night, including his only remaining country artist Corey Kent White.

The Voice YouTube channel uploaded an exit interview video with White on Wednesday, which can be seen below.

The young country singer's journey has only really just begun despite his elimination.

"So I was told that the difference was only two tweets," White said about the Instant Save performances between himself and India Carney who did make it into the Top 6.

"If you're going to go that's a pretty good way to go!" he shared.

"Two tweets, two people made the difference especially against someone like India who in my opinion is one of the most talented vocalists I've ever heard in my entire life. It's pretty humbling," he added.

White obviously talked about working with his coach whom he lovingly calls "Uncle Blake" because of the bond they've formed throughout his time in the competition.

"I can honestly say I know Blake Shelton. He's a good guy. He taught me so much. I learned so much from him. I can't believe I even got the chance to work with him," White dished.

White said Shelton apologized for the song choice made for his Top 8 performance, which was "When I See You Smile" by Bad English that landed him in the bottom three, but the country artist said he "trusted him 100 percent" and despite getting sent home White knows he had his "best performance on iTunes ever" thanks to singing this song.

Plus, Shelton told White this song gave him his breakthrough performance, which he agreed with.

"I think every single week I grew and I learned something new about myself and improved as a performer, as a singer, as a musician," he said of his Voice experience.

Tune in on Mondays and Tuesdays starting at 8 p.m. ET for Season 8 of The Voice on NBC.
