Singer Lorde and her gal pal actress Jennifer Lawrence were spotted hanging out for a low key girls night in New York on Sunday night, just one night before the annual Met Gala and the ladies seem to be enjoying them selves.

On Monday E! Online reported that the 18-year-old singer wore a navy blue sweater dress with heels while the Lawrence sported a casual look that consisted of ripped jeans, a white tee and some black heels.

After their fun filled night the ladies were spotted going back to the Carlyle Hotel were Lorde is apparently staying during her trip.

The two ladies have a pretty close relationship and they've been seen hanging out with each other before so clearly they can't get enough of one another.

According to the site, the A-lister's became close friends after they partnered together on the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

The site reports that, "Lorde recorded Yellow Flicker Beat while Lawrence surprised fans with her vocals on The Hanging Tree.

Lawrence, who sported a make-up free look on Sunday night, is clearly saving her face for the big annual event. The actress will be one of the co-hosts at Monday's star studded event and Lorde is also expected to make a debut at the event.
