Morgan Freeman more than once has been killed off in internet death hoax stories, but the actor, who played G-d twice in films, finds humor in the whole matter.

A Facebook page was created back in September claiming that the "Bruce Almighty" and "Evan Almighty" star had died. Two years ago, another death hoax about the actor circulated on Twitter. However, Freeman took to his Facebook page on Tuesday to make a joke that if everyone is saying he is dead, well then heaven looks a lot like Earth.

"Like Mark Twain, I keep reading that I have died," wrote the 75-year-old. "I hope those stories are not true...but if they are, I'm happy to report that my afterlife seems identical to my life when I was alive."

He then added a photo of himself looking very much alive and also noted that he is currently in Las Vegas working on a film named after the city.

"That is anything but a death sentence," he ended off by saying.

The film "Las Vegas" stars Freeman along with Robert De Niro, Kevin Kline and Michael Douglas. The story is about four sixty-something best friends who go to Las Vegas to throw a bachelor party for the last one of them to get married, according to E! News. The film hits theaters in December 2013.

Freeman has had a long standing and impressive career in some iconic films. Fans saw him play Nelson Mandela in "Invictus," the voice of Neil Armstrong in "Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon" and the narrator in the film adaptation of the well-known play "A Raisin in the Sun."

Among his notable characters was the loyal Lucius Fox in "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight," Red in "The Shawshank Redemption," Hoke Colburn in "Driving Miss Daisy" and Eddie Dupris in "Middle Dollar Baby"- which he won an Oscar for in 2005.
