The New Orleans Saints (2-5) will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles (3-4) in a "Monday Night Football" matchup that could very well determine the future fate of both teams.

If the Eagles are looking to turn the tide around on their dismal season they must do it immediately.  The team had a players meeting on Wednesday in order to address their current woes.  In their last game, Philadelphia again put up a less than stellar performance in a 30-17 defeat at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons.

On a positive note, Andy Reid's team will face off against two NFC East teams, which will give them the opportunity to gain some divisional ground.  However, if they were to come up short in their Monday Night showdown against the Saints. it would minimize the relevance of that respective scenario.

QB Michael Vick has struggled to garner command of the Eagles' offense, which has led to speculation that he may lose his starting job.  Although Reid will again give Vick the ball, he's very much on thin ice and could find himself benched if he continues to falter.  The usually agile signal caller must return to his trademark mobile style in order to maintain Reid's confidence.  If Vick can't do so, it appears very likely that backup QB Nick Foles will get the call.
