'Grey's Anatomy' Season 9 Spoilers, Promo & Preview Video 'Beautiful Doom'
The latest episode of "Grey's Anatomy," which airs on Nov. 8, shows Meredith having deja vu of the plane crash and her sister Lexie dying in front of her.
TV Line revealed that in the new episode, "Beautiful Doom," Meredith is expected to treat a patient that looks very much like her sister Lexie and who is suffering similar injuries to the ones that killed Meredith's sister, though this one is from a car crash. Her emotional attachment to the case gets the best of her and has Richard questioning her judgement, and if she is emotionally capable of handling the trauma that hits so close to home.
'After what happened with your sister, emotions might be clouding your judgement," Richard said to Meredith. In one instance, when he believed she has gone too far in her attempts to save the patients life, Richard told Meredith to get her hands off of the patient.
Will she has enough willpower to perform and not let her emotions get the best of her?
We will also see a bit more of Meredith's daughter Zola, which hints to the fact that Meredith is trying to balance being a mother to the daughter she shares with Derek and also a surgeon at Seattle Grace Hospital.
ABC released photos that show Meredith bringing Zola to the hospital with her, probably trying to judge motherhood and work, while Derek is away. The interns nicknamed Meredith Medusa but they might see a softer side of her around Zola and seeing her deal with the loss of her sister Lexie in upcoming episodes. Callie and the nurses help watch over Zola while Meredith tries to work.
Cristina is slowing warming up to Minnesota and she has even admitted to becoming friends with Dr. Thomas. Will her sexual relationship with Dr. Parker continue? That might not be likely, especially since she stood up to him in defense of Dr. Thomas. Her bond with Dr. Thomas gets stronger and she helped him perform a challenging heart surgery in Thursday's episode.
ABC offers a sneak peak video from the latest episode in which Meredith finds the car crash and the patient stuck under the car's tires, unable to breath.
"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursday nights on ABC at 9/8 Central.
