They have managed to keep their daughter completely out of view of the public eye, but it doesn't mean that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes aren't sharing some of the bigger moments of their daughter Esmeralda's life away from their fans.

Ryan Gosling Talks Feminism & His Daughter

The actress and fashion designer took to her Instagram page earlier this week with a post showcasing one of her newer designs as a part of her collection for New York and Company--focusing on her midsection and keeping her face away from the photograph. However, Mendes left a hilarious caption on the photo attributing her decision to keep her face out of it to a 'wild night'--with her 8-month-old.

" Loving this summer dress from our new @nyandcompany collection. Didn't include my face because last night was long and crazy. Yup, really wild like 8 month teething baby kinda wild," she wrote.

Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes' Wedding Plans In Jeopardy?

Mendes isn't the only one who has made mention of her daughter recently however, as her partner has also talked about their daughter briefly while doing more press for his directorial debut, Lost River.

Gosling recently opened up in an interview with The Daily Telegraph, where he admitted that feminist causes mean more to him these days because of his daughter.

"I didn't make those [memes], you know? It's not by design," he said. "But I do have a little girl now and it's important to me. These things are becoming...not more important to me, but more important in general, I think. There are lots of great women out there who I really admire: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, the Broad City girls [Abbi Abrams and Ilana Wexler], Lena Dunham and Kathryn Bigelow. I don't know, it just seems like it's happening."
