Meghan King Edmonds is a new Real Housewives of Orange County star and apparently, she wants to keep it that way. Even though she splits her time between the West Coast and St. Louis, the reality television star basically dissed Andy Cohen's hometown, stating that no one would be interested in watching a Real Housewives show from the Midwest.

In an interview with OK! Magazine this week, the blonde beauty suggested that Bravo fans are only interested in watching a reality show with beautiful people in a beautiful setting.

When asked if a 'Real Housewives of St. Louis' show would ever work, Edmonds responded with, "No! That would be career suicide! It's just a Midwest town. It's great but there's not beautiful weather and I don't really want to watch TV in a place where it rains and snows and there's tornadoes. I think that a lot could be said for living in a beautiful atmosphere with beautiful people and unique, fun things to do. When it comes to television you have to be able to want to watch."

Edmonds also dished on her "stepmom" story line for the new season.

She explained, "Well, I think we have a really unique story to tell and for me, I don't know a lot of people who are young stepmoms. It could feel really isolating. I want others to see that this happens and it doesn't have to be a secret. And not only that, we have a lot of things happening in our lives."

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs every Monday on the Bravo network.
