Z Nation is taking the zombie apocalypse to whole new levels in season 2.

It's a man eat man world - literally - but Doc (Russell Hodgkinson) isn't about to let a bullet to the chest keep him from working Operation Bitemark. As the westward bound crew deals with the aftermath of meeting the Doctor of the Dead, Steven Beck will keep the team laughing even as nuclear warheads rain down on the planet.
"The stakes are higher for everyone in season two, but Doc has survived this long by having a sense of humor and being a trusted team player," Hodgkinson informed Spoiler TV. "I don't think that will change."

What will change, however, is the Doc's traveling companions. Z Nation has already announced a slate of interesting new characters (actor Emilio Rivera has a six-episode arc and Matt Cedeno will be a series' regular), and the actor believes viewers will really enjoy a few returning faces.
"Prepare to see many wonderful new guest stars, as well as a new addition to the team," Hodgkinson teased. "You can also count on seeing a few reoccurring characters like Sketchy & Skeevy....and 'Pie Girl'. Brace yourself. Season two is off the hook!"
