There are fathers in iZombie, we just haven't met them yet.

'iZombie' Season 2: Are Blaine & Major Cured On 'iZombie'? Rob Thomas Teases Fallout

When you're characters are all grown up and fully independent, it's not often their parents crop up in their day to day life (even if a zombie apocalypse is on the horizon). So far, the CW drama has only introduced viewers to Liv's (Rose McIver) mom, but the parents and guardians shortage will come to an end in season 2.

"We have been talking about Season 2 as being the Season of Dads," shiowrunner Rob Thomas divulged to TV Line's "Ask Ausiello." "We might meet several people's dads in Season 2, including [Liv and Evan's]. We kept him intentionally unmentioned because we hadn't worked out how we wanted to bring him in or what we wanted to do with him... We have a desire to do it, and I think we have a neat backstory on their dad."

'The 100' Season 3: Story To Explore Grounder Culture In A Major Way, Map Of The World Revealed

If we were to wager a guess as to when Mr. Moore could swing by Seattle, we'd say it would probably be in the wake of his son's near death experience. Unfortunately, Evan's (Nick Purcha) explosive visit to the MeatCute also prompted Liv's seemingly selfish and distasteful betrayal of her family (if only they knew she was trying to save Evan from a life of brain smoothies). What will dear old dad have to say about that?
