As Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas continue to make headlines after he was accused of cheating, the couple has been accused of faking the scandal for a juicier storyline on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

It’s no secret that Bailey was once seen as a not-so-exciting character on the hit series. Now that she and Thomas are getting lots of attention following a video of him getting close with a mystery woman, rumors swirl that they made up the story to secure her slot on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Now, OK! magazine has brought up a few suspicions regarding the clip.

For starters, the woman taping the raw footage is within an arm’s reach of Thomas as he rubs his hand down the front of the woman’s body after grazing her neck. Many fans assumed that Thomas would know better than that and see the woman filming and be able to stop her— or at least do a little damage control before it hit the Internet.

On top of that, rather than waiting for the situation to dissolve, Bailey went on media rounds and spoke to multiple outlets on her thoughts of the video. Not to mention, the couple faced cheating rumors last season and they both shut down speculation that Thomas was unfaithful.

Thomas even joked during the reunion special that aired earlier this year that if he ever did step out on Bailey, it would be with a woman to the likes of Jennifer Lopez or Beyonce.
