With all of the rumors on who will be returning, not returning or even new faces that will join Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, new fan favorite Demetria McKinney seems to be one of the first to speak out on the reports.
McKinney spoke on rumors that Claudia Jordan was given the boot. She set the record straight and told Hip Hollywood Friday, “She ain’t been kicked nowhere. Not off, not in the butt. Not in the nothing. She has not been kicked off.
They are still in the finalization process of who they’re gonna pick. They’re testing some people. Nothing is set in stone and no changes have been made officially. Don’t believe everything you hear.”
She went on to dish on the latest off-camera drama that has happened with her co-stars. Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas made headlines after a controversial video of him getting too close and cozy with a mystery woman surfaced online and went viral.
McKinney said, “One thing I love about Cynthia is that she is truly a strong woman. People can say what they want about what they think they know about her. Reality television gives an hour of a lifetime a week. She is strong, she is happy, she is who she is and they are gonna work that thing out. She’s fine.”
Still, McKinney herself has yet to be given the title of a full-time cast member. But she did reveal why she was MIA during the reunion special that aired earlier this season. Check it out in the full interview below.
