Draya Michele has managed to focus on her career as a bathing suit designer and reality TV star on VH1’s Basketball Wives LA after all of the drama between her and her former fiancé Orlando Scandrick.

She spoke with Headlines & Global News Sunday. She opted out of mentioning anything about Scandrick, but rather kept the attention on her flourishing Mint Swim line as well as her role on the hit series.

As for Basketball Wives LA, she made it clear that fans will see a different side of her than they have in past seasons. She said the days of her popping off with clever comebacks and even throwing punches are over.

“I just don’t have a tolerance for the crap anymore. The audience will get to see that and I think they’ll appreciate me [for it]. The audience is o my side and they’re kind of fed up with the stuff that I’ve been dealing with also.”

While it might have put her in a bad light, Draya credits the show for giving her “a huge platform” to spread the word about Mint Swim.

“Regardless of the drama, they still gave us a fair opportunity to talk about what we were doing and I appreciated that so much. It was like a free commercial witha huge audience to see it. So it helped a lot.”

Now, the likes of LaLa Anthony, Zendaya, Adrienne Bailon, Christina Milian and Selena Gomez have rocked her clothes.
