Teresa Giudice’s sister-in-law, former arch nemesis and Bravo The Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Melissa Gorga opens up about her current status in jail and reveals why she has yet to visit her.

Melissa Gorga Possibly Makes Cameo In Joe Giudice & Daughters’ Spinoff Show

Gorga made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live recently and said she did ask to see Giudice, but has not been given the green light just yet. When Gorga said she thought it might be the prison guards stopping her, Cohen suggested that Giudice is the one who decides to gets to see her.

“I think it’s by her,” he said, pointing out that was just his opinion.

The ladies have had their differences in the past. But it appeared that they made up amid Giudice’s legal battle that played out on the previous season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Still, Gorga did say her husband and Giudice’s brother, Joe, has been to see her.

Giudice surrendered to federal prison on Jan. 5. While she still has a few months before she is a free woman again, Gorga opened up about her family is coping during her time behind bars.

“Everyone’s hanging in there…The girls are doing good too,” she said. She added that

As for Giudice who pleaded guilty to serious fraud charges more than a year ago, Gorga added, “She’s doing as well as can be expected for the situation. She’s really strong and she’s really good at keeping it positive especially when she talks to the girls on the phone and connects with her husband and everyone.”
