Many fans have been waiting for Wendy Williams to come back to the entertainment industry again, but it appears that they won't be seeing her again soon as her podcast had been delayed again as she's set to enter a wellness facility; is she okay?

According to a press release from her podcast, as reported by People Magazine, the famed TV star will be taking some time off to focus on her health. In order to do this, she would be entering a wellness facility to fully recover and have a "major comeback for the next level in her career."

Her team assured supporters that the 58-year-old media mogul is being taken care of by "some of the best doctors in the world."

They concluded their statement by asking fans for prayers and well wishes as she recovers from her health issues.

Wendy Williams' Career Started Going Down Because of Health Issues

The TV star has been suffering from several health concerns since the beginning of 2022, leading her to tap out from her famous television program.

Her return to the show had been delayed twice before production decided to cast numerous guest hosts like Leah Remini, Whitney Cummings, Jerry Springer, Michael Rapaport, and many more.

Among the roster of guest hosts, it appears that many fans liked Sherri Shepherd's way of interaction and performance as she got the highest ratings.

Later on, the famous "Wendy Williams Show" came to an end to give the star her own show titled "Sherri" that ultimately took the timeslot of Williams' program.

A representative for the TV star released a statement at the time, saying she understood why production had to make the decision.

Debmar-Mercury assured the TV host that when her health gets back on track, she would be hosting on television again.

Just a few weeks ago, Wendy Williams hinted at her highly-anticipated comeback by announcing her podcast titled "The Wendy Williams Experience."

Taking to her official Instagram account, the host shared a photo of herself sitting on a black throne and completely ditching her iconic purple chair on the TV show.

Speaking to the New York Post about the future of her career, Williams said she wanted to launch a podcast then later venture out into the world of business by opening a restaurant around New York City or New Jersey.
