Comedian and actress Maya Rudolph met with 'Entertainment Tonight' to chat about her future projects.

Rudolph, 51, is in agreement with 'Bridesmaids' fans who have cheered for a sequel of the hit comedy from 2011.

Regarding the follow-up film, Rudolph's friend and fellow 'Saturday Night Live' alum Kristen Wiig said "it's never been a conversation" during a interview with The Hollywood Reporter

"That story had an end, and it's so beloved to me for 10 million reasons, and I think it's OK to just have it exist in the world as it is," Wiig, 50, told the media outlet.

Rudolph, who was also a part of the box office-breaking comedy, responded to Wiig's statement saying she respects her perspective, and admits that regardless, she doesn't have the final say in the matter.

"I saw that. I mean, if that's how she feels..." she began. "I don't know, I feel like people are always looking for some sort of answer from me, like, it's not up to me."

The actress also acknowledged the fun they had while filming the comedic success. "We had the best time doing it, so I feel like I get it," she added.

She told ET how "there's so many wonderful people that I'm lucky to have in my life because of that show."

As for her current projects, the second season of her new series, 'Loot,' tells the story of a newly single 40-year-old Molly Wells, ready to save the world. Wells, who faces divorce from her tech billionaire ex-husband, now struggles to find a purpose for her staggering $87 billion settlement.

'Loot' premieres on Apple TV+ on April 3.
