Under the Dome has added another new actor to the already large cast ahead of season 2.

New actress Grace Victoria Cox has joined Under the Dome, according to a new report by The Hollywood Reporter. Cox will play Melanie, a new potential love interest for Joe (Colin Ford). Melanie is described as a "beautiful and almost regal" girl from "the right side of the tracks," as opposed to Norrie (Mackenzie Lintz).

Cox's Melanie is one a few new actors who have joined the cast of Under the Dome for season 2.

Enstars reported Tuesday that Eddie Cahill (CSI: NY) and Karla Crome (Misfits) had signed on as series regulars. Cahill will play Sam, a former EMT who is also the brother-in-law of Big Jim (Dean Norris). Sam eventually forms a "deep connection" with Julia (Rachelle Lefevre).

Meanwhile, Crome will be playing Rebecca, a young schoolteacher and former army brat. Rebecca is expected to cause some trouble with Big Jim.
