Glee star Jane Lynch is already upset about the show ending its run next season, saying recently that it's going to be sad ending things.

Glee Returning To McKinley High For Final Season?

With the final season of Glee being held for midseason rather than coming back in the fall as it usually does, E! News spoke with Lynch, who plays Sue Sylvester for her thoughts on the series ending.

"It's going to be sad to start the mourning process, but I think we're going right back into work," Lynch revealed.

Naya Rivera 'Coming Back Next Year' To Glee?

As for where she sees Sue Sylvester ending up, she is still left in the dark. While she does not have specific ending in mind for Sue, she said, "I would love to see what they have."

Lynch previously suggested that she didn't know if she would be back for the final season, though she was hopeful.

"They had me come to upfronts so I hope I'm coming back! If they bring you to upfronts, it's usually a good thing," Lynch told HollywoodLife.com at the Fox Upfronts in May. She noted that Glee has been "the best thing that's ever happened to me."

Lynch won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series during Glee's breakout first season.

The series is expected to only air 13 episodes for its sixth and final season, according to rumors via TVLine. This would be the shortest season of Glee in its history, with its first four seasons having 22 episodes and the fifth season getting 20 episodes.
