Despite all of the NYC characters on Glee agreeing to meet up again six months later in the big city during Tuesday night's finale, the sixth season will not be an exclusively New York show.

Glee Season 6 Debuts In 2015?

Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy spoke with E! Online recently about the sixth and final season of the show, revealing that while it will only center on a core group of characters, it won't be all in New York.

"We will be reaching out to all of the regulars on the show, that original group of Glee club members and the teachers, and anybody who wants to come back can come back. Anybody who wants to be a part of the show, we welcome them," Murphy said.

Naya Rivera Fired From Glee?

While some characters are going to have bigger stories than others, such as Rachel (Lea Michele), Blaine (Darren Criss) and Sam (Chord Overstreet), he assured that any of the cast can come back if they want.

When asked if the series would go back to McKinley High in its final year, Murphy seemed optimistic, though he teased that a big announcement is going to be made soon.

"You might see it again in some very nostalgic way, yes, but I don't want to talk about the location of it...I don't want to say too much because [executive producer] Brad [Falchuk]'s going to talk about it in June."

Glee is slated to return for season 6 in spring 2015 on Fox. The date and timeslot is not known at this time.
