Reign is about to return for a second season, and it looks like Queen Catherine will definitely be the one to watch out for.

The Plague Will Be 'Taking Lives' In Season 2?

On Friday, Reign Writers tweeted a faded picture that has Catherine's name on it. While that made things pretty vague, the image had a caption that gives a hint on what the queen will bring to the show, which will likely be something frightening.

"Don't worry #FlyingSquad, your Queen will be back with a vengeance this fall! #TeamCatherine," the caption said.

Queen Catherine Will Deal With 'Power Structures?'

It's unclear on how big a vengeance it will be, but it sounds like it'll bring more horrific outcomes.

Megan Follows, who plays Catherine on the series, recently spoke to KSite TV about where her character will be going from here when the series returns.

"Catherine was a very, very powerful woman, whose power had been - not really in the shadows, but she had to be very careful. So, it's going to be interesting," the actress said. "She became Queen Consort. She got it into her, basically, contract, that she would be Queen throughout the reigns of her sons. It's going to be really interesting to see where we go with it."

With another queen involved, Follows mentioned that Catherine will likely react in two different ways.

"I think publicly, she will be very smart, and know how to have the right appearance and the right show of respect, and privately, she will be thinking very carefully about what this means," she said. "Power structures and alliances."

Reign Season 2 is expected to premiere this fall on The CW.
