Nick Faces Life And Death Situations In New Episodes?

Executive Producer Tassie Cameron shared many spoilers with TV Line Friday regarding Nick's love life this season.

She said, "I know, I know. Poor, old Nick, [He] carries a bit of a procedural ball most of the season, but wait for the second half of the season and you'll see what we have in mind. Actually, you'll get a sense of that in the last couple of episodes of these 11...

"It wouldn't have been realistic to have him leap into anything new right away. We think the world of him as a character and as an actor, so we were not ready to get rid of him."

Sam's Sister Comes Between He And Andy?

Fans can't help but wonder if Nick's new love interest will be played by Being Erica star Erin Karpluk. She's slated to join the cast later this season, but her role hasn't been released yet.

As for Andy and Sam, their relationship is in a strange place after being apart for so long, not to mention that she moved on with Nick briefly. Cameron revealed that their complicated love story is far from over.

She said, "Sam and Andy are trying to find their way back together, but there's been a lot of water under the bridge. There are lots of things to work out, and they want to take it slowly and do it right. So we're trying to depict a realistic, slow burn to make sure that they can make it work this time."
