As if there weren't enough drama with the original cast, Rookie Blue shakes things up with a new mystery woman slated to join the hit ABC show later in the season.

Andy 'Doesn't Feel Like Being A Cop' In Season 5 Premiere?

Rookie Blue returns Thursday but the newest spoiler involve Being Erica star Erin Karpluk, who is set to make her debut on the show in the eleventh episode. Executive producer of Rookie Blue Tassie Cameron raved about Karpluk's addition.

She told TV Line earlier this week, "[Being Erica] was a great show, created by one of my dear friends [Jana Sinyor]," Cameron told TVLine. "I've always been looking for a chance to get [Karpluk] on our show, and we finally did. So that's very exciting."

Karpluk will join her fellow Being Erica co-star Adam MacDonald, who currently plays Detective Steve Peck. Karpluk has also starred in Canadian hit series Saving Hope, Life Unexpected and Supernatural.

Another Canadian star viewers might recognize this season is Stacey Farber, who played Ellie Nash in the popular show, Degrassi: The Next Generation. Farber will make her debut in the season premiere as a customer in a coffee shop who ends up pulling a gun on two of the workers. Dov and Andy just happen to be there and Dov notices something strange about Farber and her partner-in-crime right away.

"Check it out, they're not eating."

Farber and the mystery guy get into a heated argument before Farber pulls out her gun and warns them not to move before pointing the gun at Dov and Andy. Check out the scene here.
