A new Insidious 3 still was revealed for Halloween via the movie's official Facebook page, and it shows Stefanie Scott, seemingly possessed and bound, as the characters of Dermot Mulroney, Lin Shaye and Leigh Whannell, encircle her.

Insidious 3 To Be 'Special,' 'Like A 'Specter Of The Further'? 

While the name of Dermot Mulroney's character has not yet been revealed, Scott will be playing his daughter Sue in the movie. Shaye will reprise her role as Elise Rainer, and Whannell will be playing Specs. Whanell who has written for and acted in the first two chapters is also directing Insidious 3. In the still, Elise seems to be calling on some spirits or trying to get a glimpse into "the further" to help Sue out, who is bound to a chair by a black cord and is unconscious. Specs and Mulroney's character accompany Elise, circling a strong candle flame.

"The spirits are at their strongest tonight," the caption for the still reads.

Fans "Will Love The Continuation" Of The Horror Franchise 

The first two films in the Insidious franchise were helmed by the writer-director team of Whannell and James Wan.

Insidious: Chapter 2 was released on Sept. 13 and topped the U.S. box office scoring $41.1 million over in its opening weekend. The film stars Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins, and Barbara Hershey reprised their roles from  the first film in the series.

The first film followed the story of the haunted Lambert family, whose son inexiplicably enters a comatose state and becomes a vessel for demons. In Insidious: Chapter 2, the married couple try to explore the secrets that tie them to the paranormal world and the demons that possessed their son.

Insidious 3 will hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
