Despite getting criticized over the past few days, Farrah Abraham doesn't regret allowing her daughter to get her septum piercing for her birthday. The reality star also defended their actions, saying they didn't break the law.

Speaking in a recent interview, as reported by Daily Mail UK, the "Teen Mom" star said that she personally doesn't want to have a piercing for herself, but her daughter wanted to, so she said yes.

Before getting any body modifications, the TV star made sure everything was done professionally, and they were following local restrictions.

Some states allow body modifications with the written consent of a parent, and some need a legal guardian to be present during the procedure.

In the state of California, where Farrah Abraham is based, it's illegal for minors to get a tattoo, but for piercings other than ears, a parent's presence is required or a notarized consent from a legal guardian.

However, it's unclear if Sophia Abraham got her nose pierced outside Los Angeles.
