Country singer Carrie Underwood is home in Nashville this week, giving the performer a little time to poke fun at one of her husband's teammates.

Carrie Underwood Sneaks Home For Visit With 'Kids'

Underwood has been married to NHL player Mike Fisher since 2010 and so the 31-year-old has had a bit of time to familiarize herself with her husband's current team, the Nashville Predators.

"Hey @seth_jone3," tweeted Underwood to the Predators' Seth Jones yesterday afternoon, "You need to work on your golf game… preferably on another course. *sings* Shatter every window 'till Seth learns to play!!"

New Details On Upcoming Carrie Underwood Album

Fans found the joke rather amusing. Over 300 fans re-posted the Tweet, while nearly 2,000 favorited it in less than 24 hours.

Underwood is likely enjoying the fun after a busy season. The singer teamed up with Miranda Lambert for the hit duet Somethin' Bad earlier this summer and recently filmed the theme song for this year's Sunday Night Football on NBC. The behind-the-scenes look for that performance is scheduled to hit movie theatres this Friday.

Underwood has also been performing at a number of festivals across the country while working on her new untitled album, which she assured fans last month would show a "different" side to her music while at the same time staying true to who she is as a person.

Underwood isn't home in Nashville this week just for the downtime. She's scheduled to perform this Friday at the Grand Ole Opry. The singer will give two performances there before heading off to the east coast, where she will spend the remainder of the summer touring.
