They've agreed to marry one another, and now, news that Jake (Billy Miller) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) are planning to tie the knot will begin to spread on General Hospital.

Because of his close friendship with Carly (Laura Wright), Jake will seel her out when he decides to tell someone what's happening. And while she will be overjoyed and happy for him, when Sonny (Maurice Benard) walks in and sees the two in an embrace, he will begin getting territorial and suspicious of what's going on.

"Don't let me interrupt the fun," he says in a preview clip for the Friday, August 14 episode.

However, his ill will towards Jake could be tampered when Carly explains what led to the happy embrace.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth will continue wanting to make sure that especially now as she prepares to finally get the man she's wanted for years, as she is aware that Jake's real identity is Jason Morgan, she will keep scheming to make sure that no one learns the truth. However, this scheme will become increasingly more difficult for her when Sam (Kelly Monaco) continue to hang around, especially now that little Jake is alive and well, and she wants him and Danny to bond since they are both Jason's sons.

"I hope we're not too early," she says to Elizabeth in the clip as she arrives at her home.

Because she worries that Sam's and Danny's presence around Jake could jog his memory in some way and remind him of who he actually is, Elizabeth will likely begin to think of ways to keep the two brothers apart more often.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
