Yolanda Foster is determined to find a cure for Lyme disease.

Yolanda Foster Takes On 'Toxic-Free' Lifestyle While Battling Lyme Disease

Three years after her diagnosis, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star continues to fight back against the illness, and according to her husband, she's going to do whatever it takes to beat the disease and help others do the same.

"Yolanda feels that it's part of her job to get to the bottom of this. She believes that if she cracks the code it will help a lot of other people with the disease," David said during an interview with the UK's Daily Mail on Monday. "I've told her more than once, I've said, 'You know, honey, you should really try and get better yourself first,' and she said, 'Yeah, but if I crack the code then a lot of people are going to get better,' so she's really dedicated to finding something that will really help her and in turn help others. So that's just the way she rolls and that's just her."

Continuing on about Yolanda's struggles with the illness, David explained, "For some of these people, they can find themselves in this situation and they can brush it off like a cold, but for other people it slowly but surely eats away at their immune system and then they just go down and that's what happened for her."

Luckily, however, Yolanda has remained positive, despite her dwindling health.

"She's Dutch and she's determined and she's going to get to the bottom of it," David added.
