The ladies of Fifth Harmony love showing their appreciation for other artists on and off social media.

Is Lauren Jauregui Thinking About Getting Another Tattoo Already?

On Thursday, the oldest Fifth Harmony member took to Twitter to praise Disney Channel star Sabrina Carpenter for her short video in which she covered Ed Sheeran's "Lego House" since she reached "half a million" followers on the social media outlet.

Ally Brooke Hernandez loved the Girl Meets World star's little rendition, gushing, "Gorgeous, mama," with a heart emoji.

Which 5H Members Gushed On Twitter About 'Worth It' Going Double Platinum? Carpenter took "mama" quite literally and replied to Hernandez by calling her "child," while thanking her for the compliment.

We cannot totally fault Carpenter for doing this since many pre-teens, teens and young adults on the Internet refer to their favorite celebrities as "mom," "dad" and then some these days. It doesn't actually mean they're favorites are parents though. Calling their favorites "mom" and "dad" is like showing they aspire to be like them. Hernandez got a good laugh out of it since that is not what she meant when she said "mama". "YOU ARE SO CUTE," Hernandez tweeted Carpenter, explaining, "I mean mama as a term of endearment."

She did mention she would be fine with being her kid.

What do you think of Carpenter's snippet cover of Sheeran's "Lego House"? Do you find it funny that some young celebrities like herself are not totally up on the slang lingo that is around today?
